How to measure the size of your ring

It doesn’t matter for which finger you want your ring, take a smooth or a tailor’s tape measure and put it around the outside of your wrist or ankle to measure the circumference. If you don’t have a tape measure, take a piece of rope. Fold it around the preferred finger, you want to wear your new ring on. Hold it where it makes a full circle and lay it next to yard-stick or ruler. That’s the circumference of your finger. Or, you can take the measurement from another of your favourite rings. That can easily be done by measuring the diameter of the hole of the ring. Take a caliper or a fine scale ruler to measure the diameter.
